eeepc-acpi-scripts software package provides Scripts to support suspend and hotkeys on the Asus Eee PC laptop, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eeepc-acpi-scripts
eeepc-acpi-scripts is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eeepc-acpi-scripts package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eeepc-acpi-scripts *
You will get with eeepc-acpi-scripts package name, version, architecture and description in a table
